Hello fellow followers...

It is with great pleasure to introduce to you our (Alexa and Yubi) collaborative work. To give you a little bit of an insight as to who we are, we have fabricated two mini bios:

She is currently a freelance painter.
                                                                  ...

Alejandra “Alexa” Orozco was born in Morelia, Michoacán Mexico in 1983. She lived in the Central Coast of California for 20 years. After moving to Arizona she attended Southwest University of Visual Arts originally to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. After discovering she had a love for painting she added a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in painting. Alexa’s work has been displayed in the Student Excellence Gallery, the Launch Box Gallery and the Florence Quater Gallery at the Southwest University of Visual Arts Tucson Campus. In 2011 Alexa received a Student Gold ADDY and the Student Best of Show from the American Advertising Federation Tucson.
Our work is primarily figurative. We emphasize traditional painting techniques but the subject matter deviates to contemporize our work for a contemporary audience.
Yubi: "As you will notice, my work at the moment is based on portraiture but with a cropping and emotional twist because of the use of dramatic lighting that I love so much!"
... and no people, that is not a chicken leg...

Alexa: " My work contains narrative and historical elements in which the viewer can interpret based on their own experiences."
